Van Der Moon is the sum of our experience as travellers and the infrastructure we built over the years as Vitberg.
The production line at the Vitberg factory is a modern workshop where skilled hands, supported by specialised machinery, have been assembling advanced medical equipment for over 30 years. From a personal need to travel better, the idea was born - to make life on the road easier. With the support of engineers, machinery and specialists, we developed the first Moon Box: a cabinet for our Patrol that wouldn't creak or rattle on rough terrain, where things stayed in place even on the worst tracks, and one that could be taken out and brought into a hotel room if needed. After refining, reinforcing and carefully finishing it, we decided to share our product with you. Because if it worked for us, we guarantee it won't let you down either.

Van Der Moon is a brand of Vitberg - a company specialising in the production and distribution of medical equipment.
Our story.
A trip to Morocco in 2010, planned to last a year. Suspension rebuild, lightweight plywood furniture, cabin soundproofing, a new electrical installation - just the beginning of a long list of changes we planned and made to the car before setting off. But it started with engine trouble just over the border. We had to return to Poland on a flatbed truck and quickly swap in a new engine. Two days later, hearts in our mouths and a new heart under the bonnet, we set off again on our first expedition to Africa.
The road to Gibraltar was a nightmare. The furniture creaked constantly on the move, ruining the whole experience. Tightening the bolts didn't help, and driving the tracks of Morocco convinced us that for the next trip we needed furniture that was lighter and completely silent on the road.
That's how MOON BOX was born... and everything started from there.
